BGSU to host 'Day of Dialogue' on Friday, Sept. 18

Event to bring together students, faculty, staff, alumni and community to discuss racial issues

At this stage in our nation’s history, with the discussions of race, justice and culture merging during the season of political debate, it seems the ideal time for Bowling Green State University’s "Day of Dialogue,” which is scheduled to be held virtually Friday (Sept. 18).

BGSU Votes creates Faculty/Staff Resource Page
The BGSU Center for Public Impact is excited to share some new resources to use in courses and other programs. BGSU Votes has created a new Faculty/Staff Resource Page featuring helpful information about the upcoming election and how it can be utilized it as a learning opportunity.

Some highlights of the page include:

BGSU Votes Election 2020 Canvas Module: This module was designed to be easily imported into courses/programs. Search for BGSU Votes in Canvas Commons.
Democratic Engagement: Voting Basics LibGuide – Created by BGSU Librarians, this tool features useful data and contextual election information to incorporate into classrooms or programs.
Voting 101 Videos: BGSU Votes student leaders have put together a collection of videos that can be added to course or program activities.
Events Calendar: There are a variety of election events over the next two months that are great learning opportunities for students.
