3. Help Stop Recycling Contamination!

These are some of the worst contaminants found in recycling bins in residence halls and other buildings that are ruining many loads of recycling:

Disposable cups of ANY kind (such as Starbucks, Einstein Brothers, or other....with or without lids/straws); Plastic bags and other plastic stuff other than bottles; pizza boxes; masks/gloves/paper towels/tissues: food; to-go containers; disposable utensils; styrofoam.

The ONLY items that properly belong in recycling are those listed on the recycling signage/label: Cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, office paper/newspaper, and cardboard (which goes in the large orange dumpsters on campus that say "Cardboard Only"). Please contact Campus Sustainability at greenbg@bgsu.edu with any questions. Thank you for your help.
