1. Fire Hydrant Flushing

Main Campus Wednesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Annual Hydrant flushing will begin across campus. Hydrants will be opened and allowed to run for several minutes as part of preventative maintenance. As a result of this process, water may be temporarily discolored. The discoloration is due to silt and air in the lines and does not affect the safety of the water. If you experience discolored water, allow faucets to run for a few minutes to flush the lines.

2. Amended University Policy Number 3341-1-7 - Delegation of Contract and Signatory Authority

The Delegation of Contract and Signature Authority policy has been revised to more clearly identify the specific administrative positions with the limited authority to execute contracts on behalf of Bowling Green State University. Position titles have also been updated.

4. Drugs Not Bugs: New Methods to Inhibit Deadly Bacterial Infections

Dr. Hans Wildschutte is an associate professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at BGSU. He will discuss his research, which focuses on the identification of compounds and bacteriophage that kill deadly bacterial pathogens. 2. Participants Needed: COVID-19 Study

BGSU undergraduate students (age 18+) are being recruited for a study to identify, categorize, and understand the opinions of college students regarding their stresses, coping, and needs for academic/social support during the late stages of the COVID-19 crisis and beyond (BGSU IRB 1740736). Students who complete the Q-grid (Excel file) and questionnaire will receive a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The grid and questionnaire will take about 30 minutes to complete.
