Query Workshops

Phase I of the CHESS Project will result in the separation of the PeopleSoft CSS and HCM environments during the weekend of July 19, 2014.  

This split will potentially have an impact on all system queries.  Each user will be responsible for testing their queries in order to ensure that they will continue to function and provide the expected results in the new environment.  In order to aid in the testing of queries, the project team has identified the queries that will most likely be impacted by the split and noted the reason for the impact.

• Tables to Truncate in CSS
• Tables to Truncate in Neither

All query owners/users are invited to attend a Query Workshop to test their queries in the new environment, determine the action to take for the query (keep in both environments, keep in CSS only, keep in HCM only, delete in both) and to discuss any queries that need rework.

If you are interested in attending a Query workshop, please register at least 48 hours prior to the session date.  This will allow the team time to appropriately establish your security in the test environment.

• March 26 from 1 - 2 p.m.
• April 8 from 1 - 2 p.m.
• April 23 from 9 - 10 a.m.
• May 6 from 1 - 2 p.m.
• May 21 from 1 - 2 p.m.
• June 3 from 1 - 2 p.m.
