Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon
Friday, October 13, 2017, 1-2:30 pm
Facilitator:  Tabetha Violet, The Women’s Center

There is a vast disparity in the number of women who contribute to Wikipedia articles compared to contributors who are men. In fact, 91% of Wikipedia's editors are male. The more women who contribute to Wikipedia pages, the smaller this gender gap will become. Join this workshop to fight the gender gap by editing and creating women-focused Wikipedia pages together. You don't have to be a Wikipedia pro, just eager to research and contribute to women’s issues! Bring friends!

Please bring your own laptop.
