PEAK: Peers Engaging & Achieving Knowledge
Peers Engaging and Achieving Knowledge (PEAK) connects first year students in the UPAS program with upper-class BGSU students who serve as peer advisors. PEAK mentors can provide their perspective on balancing curricular and co-curricular activities, classes they have completed, their declared major, and academic as well as campus resources.
My name is Lauren Jackson. I am from Southfield, Michigan and I am a sophomore studying Sport Management with a minor in International Business. On campus I am involved in Multicultural Affairs, Sport Management Alliance, UPAS mentoring, and I support other activities that are on campus. Aside from that, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and just watching Netflix in my spare time. Being a member of the UPAS Program helped me become a more organized student, gain study skills, and learn to prioritize my classes along with extracurricular activities. As a PEAK Mentor I hope to pass on those same skills and others to help incoming students adjust to college life.

In my free time, I like to write and spend time with my friends.
