FAQs about the electronic scholarship system: 

After I log in and work on answering the questions, how will I know if I am done with my application? Once you are done completing each step in the scholarship application, the status will change to “Complete”.

How will I know if I have been awarded a scholarship? Scholarship are awards at annual college awards event in April. 

What is the deadline to apply for scholarships? Each scholarship opportunity has a deadline date that can be viewed in the system. The majority of these scholarships will have deadlines in early January or February.

How do I know if I am eligible for a specific scholarship? If you are eligible for a specific scholarship that may require you to complete additional information, once you log in, you would click “Opportunities” and then click “Recommended”. At that point you will see any additional opportunities you may be eligible for. You will only see these recommended opportunities once you finish both your general and conditional applications.

How do I apply for a specific scholarship? Once you click “Opportunities” then “Recommended” you will see an “Apply” button. Click “Apply” and answer the questions to apply for that opportunity.

Do I have to have a FAFSA on file to be eligible for scholarships? A FAFSA is not required to be eligible for all scholarships; however, it is strongly recommended that you complete your FAFSA to ensure you are matched to as many scholarships as possible.

What if my information on the system in incorrect? If your information in the system is incorrect, please contact your academic advisor or college office for assistance.

How do I submit a letter of reference? If an opportunity requires a letter of reference, when you click “apply” there will be a link that says “Add a New File” that allows you to upload the letter into the system.
