Bowling Green State University aviation major Noah Pyle was selected for an internship with American Airlines at the company’s world headquarters in Dallas for Spring 2020. The internship, which began in January, is a six-month hands-on learning experience. As a flight operations Intern, Pyle’s work is geared toward pilots in training.

Nearly 200 students from 12 regional school districts participated in the seventh annual Falcon BEST Robotics competition at BGSU’s Stroh Center on Oct. 26. Teams were comprised of high school, junior high and middle school students. The event was hosted by the College of Technology, Architecture and Applied Engineering.

One college will begin the year with a new name that better expresses its mission and vision. During the presentation, Bills shared a football signed by Ohio National Guard soldiers while in Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan and Afghanistan. The Bowling Green Flight Center added five new aircraft, all Piper Warriors, for BGSU Aviation students to pilot. Three of the Warriors are brand-new models purchased directly from the manufacturer, Piper Aircraft. The BG Flight Center also purchased a 2006 model and a 2002 model and completely refurbished them from tip to tail.
