Learning Design and Technology celebrates 10-year Anniversary

Learning Design and Technology (LDT), formerly Advanced Technological Education, was BGSU’s first, online bachelor’s degree completion program ten years ago. The degree allows adult learners to transfer technical and/or applied associate degrees and finish a bachelor of science in technology completely online.

In the LDT program, students learn skills that can be applied in virtually any type of work environment. Primary fields include corporate training and development, instructional design, media usability, leadership and management in technological organizations, and technological forecasting. Alumni work in a variety of fields from medical and higher education to industry, organizations and non-profits.

Our faculty and staff are experienced teaching and working with adults to provide the best learning experience. The program is offered through BGSU’s new eCampus programs and is accredited for distance learning through the Higher Learning Division of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
