Sarder named to prestigious Material Handling Institute board
Dr. MD Sarder, a professor and chair of the Department of Engineering Technologies, has been selected to serve as a board member of the College Industry Council on Material Handling Education of Material Handling Institute (MHI) for 2018-2021.
MHI is the nation's largest material handling, logistics and supply chain association. MHI offers education, networking and solution sourcing for members, their customers and the industry as a whole through programming and events. MHI represents 800 material handling and logistics companies and 17 industry groups.
Sarder will oversee various activities including Classroom Day at MODEX and PROMAT conferences, Teachers Institute, Research Colloquium and Research Grants. His involvement will expand academic partnerships with professional organizations and enhance BGSU’s involvement at the national level.
