BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Qi Guo received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shandong University in 2011. He also received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton in 2012 and 2017, respectively. He is an Assistant Teaching Professor in Engineering Technology in Bowling Green State University.

Dr. Guo’s research interests lie within the broad area of sustainability and integrate aspects of end-of-life product recycling, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and optimization. His doctoral research contributed to the sustainability field by demonstrating the significance of optimization. His overarching research aim is to allow students to apply their knowledge to real-world projects, and in turn, commercialize their research to serve a greater population and benefit society as a whole.
