I am the leader and a lecturer in the photographic track of VCT. I am currently teaching VCT 2820, the introductory photography course, and VCT 4650, Commercial Photography. I am also the Faculty Advisor for the Visual Communication Technology Organization and am involved with student independent studies and mentoring in the field of photography.

I have done research into the psychological appeal of the photographic image. This research involved defining the visual elements that contribute to the visual and psychological appeal, of photographs of lasting merit.
I am enthusiastic about all types of photography. I have owned Jeffrey Hall Photography for over 20 years. I was also co-owner of The Sundae Station. My personal interests include travel and cultural photography. I started my career as a photojournalist at The Daily Sentinel Tribune and later became the University Photographer at BGSU. I am a member of Professional Photographers of America and the Student Photographic Society.
