Matriculation
Most students enter the College of Technology, Architecture and Applied Enginering as a provisional or “pre” member of their major. Full membership, or matriculation, occurs after a student has:
- Attained an overall BGSU grade point average of at least 2.25 for all courses
- Completed a cooperative education experience (TECH 2890) (for all programs except technology education)
- Completed with a grade of "C" or better all courses in bold print on their program checksheet.
- Earned an overall grade point average of at least 2.50 in their major
The steps listed above must be completed before students will be permitted to register for 3000- and 4000-level courses in the College of Technology, Architecture and Applied Engineering. Students apply for program entry, or matriculation, by completing the matriculation form and returning it to the Undergraduate Student Services Office, 102 Technology Building.
