2023 USG Elections
Candidate Information & Platform
Emily Gerome - President
We are Emily Gerome and Carly Hitchcock, running for Undergraduate Student Government (USG) President and Vice President. Once in office, we will prioritize making BGSU more sustainable through increasing post-consumer composting and other current projects. As student employees ourselves, we will advocate for more student employee benefits, including a $12 campus-wide minimum wage. Our administration will commit to connecting students to USG and our resources in order to bolster student involvement on campus. With our extensive experience in USG, we have the knowledge and resources to move our campus community forward. Go Falcons!

As the previous Honors College senator, I have had the honor to serve and represent the Honors College voice through the 2022-2023 academic year in Undergraduate Student Government. Being the senator, I have had the ability to communicate with staff and students on how to improve their Honors experience in and out of the college itself. With my participation in the Honors Ambassadors and other academic related organizations, I hope to promote involvement as well as communication between faculty and students within the college.
Christian Isler - Schmidthorst College of Business Senator

Rose Brookhart - Off-Campus Senator
As an Off Campus Senator, I hope to use the knowledge gained during my time as USG Vice President to advocate for the safety and inclusion of off campus students.
