All reported bias incidents are thoroughly investigated by the Office of the Dean of Students and/or BGSU Police. Perpetrators will be held accountable through criminal charges and/or discipline by the University in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.


BGSU Police

Provides the campus with 24-hour police protection by a fully certified staff of police officers, detectives, and dispatchers.

BG Transit

Provides safe, affordable, quality public transportation within the city limits of and area immediately surrounding Bowling Green, Ohio.


Campus Safe Escort Service

A free service that provides walking escorts to all students to and from any on campus location. Escorts are available every day of the week from:
8 p.m. – 4 a.m.


Cocoon Shelter

Emergency and comprehensive support services to survivors of sexual and domestic violence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


Counseling Center

Provides comprehensive individual and group mental health services intended to help students develop improved coping skills in order to address emotional, interpersonal and academic concerns.


Falcon Health Center

Partners with BGSU to provide health services and excellent patient care for students, faculty and staff members as well as the community of Bowling Green, Ohio.


International Programs

Provides opportunities for students to explore, perceive and understand intercultural issues through engagement with global problems, international cultures, and foreign language.


LGBTQ+ Resource Center

Seeks to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to promote, educate, and develop programs centering on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. Diversity education, ally, and advocacy resources: Safe Zone Workshop

Office of the Dean of Students

The Dean of Students area advocates for student success by engaging all  students in opportunities to build competency in leadership, multicultural awareness, personal responsibility, and citizenship.


Office of Multicultural Affairs

Promotes, facilitates, and advocates for a welcoming, socially just and inclusive community. Diversity education, ally, and advocacy resources: OMA Ambassador workshops; iStand Advocacy workshop & Inclusive Leadership Certificate (ILC) program (Both offered in collaboration with the Center for Leadership); and customized diversity education workshops. 


Office of Residence Life

The Office of Residence Life promotes an engaging, safe and inclusive environment for academic success and personal growth. On-campus students are encouraged to contact their hall director or RA for assistance and support.


Title IX

Any student, faculty, or staff member with a concern or question about Title IX and/or a potential violation may seek the assistance of the Title IX Coordinator or a Deputy Coordinator.
