February 12-14 at Bowling Green State University

thanks for a great no frills 2016 conference! if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to any of the conference hosts.

Bowling Green State University is excited to present to you “Celebrate Each Day,” the next theme for the No Frills Conference.  At BGSU, we certainly know the value of life.  From our Dance Marathon 32-hour event “Ziggython” raising $275,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network to the NRHH-sponsored St. Baldrick’s Shave-A-Thon raising over $23,000 for childhood cancer research, BGSU students have demonstrated their giving nature and learned to celebrate each day and positively impact the lives of others.

For No Frills 2016, delegates will have the opportunity to celebrate each day because each day matters. Delegates will be able to get a taste of the giving nature that BGSU students exemplify by helping the philanthropic efforts of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the organization devoted to funding research for cures to childhood cancers.  Dr. Michael Brown, the keynote speaker at the conference, will work to inspire the delegates to embrace the theme of celebrating every single day and to embrace all that life gives us.  Most of all, we hope to give you the chance to celebrate the friendships that were formed from your participation in CAACURH and the accomplishments of the region.  Something worth celebrating can be found in everything that you do.

The theme of a "celebration" is in harmony with the 10-year anniversary since BGSU has last hosted a No Frills Conference. At BGSU, we have a lot to celebrate from the last time the No Frills conference was held here.  When you visit our campus, you will notice many academic buildings getting a fresh facelift and the construction of new Greek housing.  Being known as a friendly place, BGSU is a perfect place to celebrate for No Frills 2016.
