Care Packages and Linens
Attention Parents and Family!
The Office of Residence Life knows that going to college is a transition for your student and for you. Because of this, we provide two helpful resources for you to utilize; the Care Package Program and Linen and Bedding Program.

Care Packages
Our Care Package Program is a great way to remind your student that you support them. You can send one package or multiple packages throughout the year. Each care package is delivered to Campus Outfitters for your student to pickup, similar to all packages on campus. Money raised from this program supports residential student events through Resident Student Association and National Residence Hall Honorary.
Care Package Shipping Information
After you purchased a care package for your student, the following process takes place ensuring delivery of the package.
- Once the package is shipped from the warehouse, a shipping notification is sent to the person who purchased the package.
- The warehouse sends all care packages to one location on campus (Campus Outfitters).
- After the packages have been sorted, an email is sent to the student notifying them that there is a package on the way and they should pick up at Campus Outfitters.
Residence Hall Linen Program
Bowling Green State University has been offering the Residence Hall Linens program since 1993. Students at BGSU require specially-sized sheets, mattress pads and comforters to fit campus mattresses. These beds, which are longer than 76 inches, are intended to maximize student comfort.
For your convenience, we have partnered with Dormify to provide an easy, affordable way to purchase Twin XL bedding, dorm storage solutions, and everything else you'll need (and want) for your new home away from home.
Helpful tip: We recommend that parents and students respond early, in order to have the widest selection of college bedding to choose from. Doing so will guarantee your first choice color or pattern and help you make great progress on your college shopping checklist.
