The housing application for the 2021 Summer Semester opens on Monday, March 8, 2021.

Please review the information below to learn how to apply for housing and what to expect from the summer housing process.

Summer On-Campus Housing

SUMMER HOUSING APPLICATION

Summer housing is available on campus during the summer sessions you are enrolled in classes. 

Applications open on March 8, 2021.
Housing Assignment | The residence hall for summer housing will be shared at a later date.  All housing assignments are hand-assigned by the Office of Residence Life based upon availability.

To select your summer housing, you will need to log in to your MyBGSU account > click on the Housing & Meal Plan Application > Complete the online application for the summer session(s) you are enrolled in.

The summer session housing location will be shared at a later date. Double and single rooms may be preferenced when you complete your summer housing application. 

Please note: Double or single rooms can be limited based on availability and the number of students who choose to live on campus for the summer.  A student's preferred room type cannot be guaranteed. Rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.


ROOM & MEAL PLAN RATES

Below you will find the summer housing rates in Falcon Heights. Meal plans are optional in the summer; if you are interested in having a meal plan, please contact BGSU Dining Services at 419-372-7933 for options and rates. 

Please note: Housing fees are non-refundable after the first day of the requested session.

Falcon Tuition Guarantee

With the Falcon Tuition Guarantee, there is no room and board cost increases from the first year to graduation. Because of this, you will see two housing prices listed below. The rate of your summer housing will be determined based on the cohort semester in which you enrolled. 

  • 2018-2019 Cohort | C18 | You will pay the 'C18' rate if you enrolled in the summer 2018, Fall 2018, or Spring 2019 semesters for the first time.
  • 2019-2020 Cohort | C19 | You will pay the 'C19' rate if you enrolled in the summer 2019, Fall 2019, or Spring 2020 semesters for the first time.
  • 2020-2021 Cohort | C20 | You will pay the 'C20' rate if you enrolled in the summer 2020, fall 2020, or Spring 2021 semesters for the first time.
  • 2021-2022 Cohort | C21 | You will pay the 'C21' rate if you enrolled in the summer 2021, fall 2021, or Spring 2022 semesters for the first time.

3 WEEK SESSION | May 26 - June 16 (Summer I)

  • Double | $510 C18 / $525 C19 & C20 / $540 C21
  • Single | $600 C18 / $610 C19 & C20 / $620 C21

6 WEEK SESSIONS | May 26 - July 8 (Summer II) & July 12 - Aug. 20 (Summer IV)

  • Double | $1,020 C18 / $1,050 C19 & C20 / $1,080 C21
  • Single | $1,200 C18 / $1,220 C19 & C20 / $1,240 C21

8 WEEK SESSION | June 28 - Aug. 20 (Summer III)

  • Double | $1,360 C18 / $1,400 C19 & C20 / $1,440 C21

12 WEEK SESSION | May 26 - Aug. 20 (Full Summer Session)
