Reminders & FAQs

  • Room selection for new students will take place between 3-8 p.m. EDT May 9-12. Once the system opens for you, it will remain open through 9 a.m. on May 13.
  • Every 15 minutes, around 35 students will gain access to the system and rooms will fill up on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • There will be a bed available for everyone. If you don't see anything available in a residence hall, move on to the next building on your preference list.
  • There are no holds on a room or suite. If one of your friends have a later or earlier selection time than you, you can select your room when it’s your time to go into the system, and then decide if you want to keep the room you picked or try to find a room with two open beds together during your friends selection time.
  • Our room change request process and the Centennial Hall waitlist will be open form 9 a.m. EDT on May 25 to 4:45 p.m. EDT on Aug. 1 and changes will take place throughout the summer.
  • Room selection group (RSG) members can select rooms for each other. But once a selection is made, it breaks the group and any room changes after this point must be made individually.
  • If your RSG member selects a room for you, you will need to login and confirm your room assignment.
  • Didn't receive a room selection time? If you didn't make your initial housing payment and complete your housing agreement by the May 1 deadline, you will select your room after the students who completed these steps before the deadline. If you completed these steps before Wednesday, May 11, room selection times will be assigned on May 9 and May 13 – based on the date of completion. If these steps are completed on May 13 or later, you will need to complete the "Request a Room" form which will be available on the last page of your housing application.
