Have Fun - Get Involved - Compete

Stop by the Student Recreation Center during any of the designated times below to compete in the 2021 Falcon Fitness Challenge. Personal trainers and Fitness staff are overseeing activities and can demonstrate proper form and answer any questions.

Drop-In Challenge Competition Times

Times begin Monday, March 8

  • Mondays: 5- 7 PM
    • *Week 2 (March 15-19th): 1PM-3PM
  • Tuesdays: 1 - 3 PM
  • Wednesdays: 8 - 9:30 PM
  • Thursdays: Noon - 2 PM
  • Fridays: 9 - 11 AM

Challenge Overview

  • 80 winners in total
  • 10 challenge winners each week (top 5 men and top 5 women)
    Participants choose the category with which they identify.
  • Each winner receives an ARMY ROTC Falcon Fitness Challenge t-shirt and a feature on social media.

Week 1: March 8 – 12
3-Point Challenge - How many three-pointers can you make in 60 seconds?

Week 2: March 15 – 19
Football Challenge - Collect as many points as possible with 5 throws (bins ranging in points)


Week 3 Challenge: March 22 – 26
Hot Shot Challenge – 60 seconds to make as many points as possible, highest top 5 scores win.


Week 4 Challenge: March 29 – April 2
Soccer Shoot Out- Collect as many points as possible with 5 shots (targets ranging in points)
 

Week 5 Challenge: April 5 – 9
1 Mile Run – Fastest time completing a 1 mile run on a designated treadmill in SRC.

Week 6 Challenge: April 12 – 16
Max Jump Squats in 60 seconds

Week 7 Challenge: April 19 – 23
Max Pull-ups until exhaustion (Women complete assisted pull-ups using 80% of body weight; Men complete unassisted pull-ups)

Week 8 Challenge: April 26 – 30
BGSU Ladder Sprint - How fast can you complete the BGSU ladder sprint in 60 seconds?
