Falcon Fitness Instructional Workshops offer a great option for those looking for an effective, high quality workout that focuses on skill development, motivation, and improved fitness. All workshops require pre-registration at the Student Recreation Center (SRC) Welcome Desk. First-time participants receive a FREE #MoveForYourMood T-shirt (while supplies last).

Learn to Lift with Trainer Joe Black

Learn how to execute the four main fundamental lifts: Bench press, Shoulder Press, Squat, and Deadlift. Receive guidance from a Certified Personal Trainer to improve lifting form and confidence in a gym setting. This progressive workshop helps you build relationships and build strength as you work towards your fitness goals. 

Dates: Monday and Wednesday, October 7 - November 13
Time: 3:30 - 4:30 PM

Women On Weights with Trainer Amber Schindler

Learn more about designing your own exercise programs based on goals and interests throughout this 6-week workshop. Utilize diverse equipment and exercise progressions to learn more about proper exercise execution. Gain exercise science knowledge and confidence in a gym setting. Workout in a small group setting, while receiving guidance from a certified Personal Trainer.

FREE SRC Equipment Orientation

Learn more about SRC equipment and full body exercises while receiving guidance from a certified Personal Trainer. FREE sessions include a 30-minute education session followed by a 30-minute guided exercise session. No experience is required, so come as you are! Please wear active shoes and attire.
