Learning Analytics Workgroup

The Office of Academic Assessment is coordinating a Learning Analytics Workgroup. Student learning analytics is "the measurement, collection, analysis, and reporting of data about learners and their contexts, for purposes of understanding and optimizing learning and the environments in which it occurs." (Student Learning Analytics Research, 2011, p. 4)

Purpose of the Workgroup:
To provide a forum to discuss and explore student learning analytics and potential strategies to increase student success

Goals of the Workgroup:
1.    Identify questions about student learning that impact the BGSU community
2.    Develop resources for the campus community regarding the utilization of student learning analytics (i.e., help the campus community use data to inform their decisions)
3.    Create a team, when appropriate, to further investigate student learning analytics questions/topics
