The Provost's Office is pleased to announce the 2018-19 Common Experience expanding on the theme of “It’s Complicated: Our Relationship with Technology.”
This year’s Common Reading is "Irresistible: The Rise of Addictive Technology and the Business of Keeping Us Hooked, by Adam Alter. This book was chosen following an intensive review of many books, by both the committee and by a large number of students, faculty and staff volunteers from all colleges and from a wide variety of programs and organizations across campus.
The University is encouraged to explore these concepts through Common Experience events and materials provided throughout the upcoming year.
Thank you for your participation in making the Common Experience an integral part of the campus community.
