The employee benefits enrollment system will open at 8 a.m. on Oct. 31 and close at 11:59 p.m. EST on Nov. 18. This is a firm deadline, and all associated documentation (spousal forms, dependent eligibility documents and evidence of insurability forms) must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Nov. 18, 2022.
Before enrolling, please review the information outlined on the BGSU Open Enrollment webpage. All forms and information are available online at www.bgsu.edu/benefits. Please review all information before making your selections. Human Resources/Benefits will be sending more detailed information by email before and during open enrollment. Important Reminders
Walk-in COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinics
Walk-in COVID-19 booster and flu shots are available to BGSU students, faculty and staff at two more vaccine clinics in October. All clinics are conducted through a partnership between BGSU, Wood County Hospital and Wood County Health Department. COVID-19 booster shots are free to all without an insurance card needed. Insurance card information will be collected for flu shots and flu shots are fully covered by most insurances.

BGSU annual training now available
All BGSU employees are expected to complete the required courses by Nov. 18, 2022. The University will monitor the Bridge system to ensure that requirements have been fulfilled and Individual training reminders will be auto-generated through the Bridge system until all mandatory trainings are completed. The Bridge Training Portal link is also located near the bottom of the left navigation on MyBGSU. Upon completion of the courses, you may access your certificate within your learning profile on Bridge and print the certificate. If you need help accessing a course, please contact ITS at 419-372-0999.

Proctoring remote exams
The Office of the Provost and Center for Faculty Excellence have created a resource intended to provide guidance for proctoring remote exams, given ongoing legal developments at other universities involving the potential violation of a student’s right to privacy during a virtual room scan.
