Program Features:

BOSEF is part of the AIMS program and includes all of the support structures and strategies of that program plus additional activities and features to encourage students to pursue research careers in renewable energy and sustainable environmental practices. This is a joint project with the University of Toledo and includes monthly meetings with UT faculty and students alternating locations at UT and BGSU. Students also have rich opportunities to engage in research in these fields during their undergraduate education.

Application Requirements:
  • College prep high school degree
  • ACT math and science score average 27 or high school GPA of greater than 3.9
  • High School GPA 3.0
  • Ohio resident
Scholarship Amount:
  • $4,750 per school year, renewable for 4 years
  • Includes the benefit of the AIMS Summer Bridge program and AIMS Extended Scholarship Options.
