Congratulations to Dr. Mikel Kuehn on the following recent accomplishments!

- awarded a 6-week residency at the MacDowell Colony which will take place in late May and June in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

- recipient of a 2018 Ohio Arts Council Excellence Award.

- saxophone quartet, ‘Etchings’ was included on the winning program for Belgian saxophone quartet ‘Scarbo’ at Supernova 2018, a European chamber music competition. The quartet was awarded a 10 concert European tour which will include Dr. Kuehn’s piece on a few of their concerts.

- will have two new pieces premiered at the 18th World Saxophone Congress in Zagreb, Croatia this July and a premiere in Thailand for a new violin and viola duo in August at the Thailand International Composition Festival.
