TEDxBGSU is a local, independently organized TEDx event at Bowling Green State University that strives to re-create the unique experience found at TED. At its core, our aim is to foster “ideas worth spreading”. TEDxBGSU seeks to amplify the voices of students, faculty, staff, and community members of Bowling Green to share new ideas and inspire change.

This year’s theme for TEDxBGSU is For the Public Good. Bowling Green State University is a public university for the public good and TEDxBGSU will share the stories and ideas from across the BGSU community that amplify this mission

Live broadcasts of each talk will be available for viewing across campus, including in the BTSU Simulcast Lounge.

Register for TEDxBGSU! For each segment, we will allow 200 people to sit within the BTSU Theatre to observe the talks. Additional attendees can participate in TEDxBGSU by viewing the talks in the BTSU Simulcast Lounge (BTSU 308), across various viewing parties on campus, or via the livestream.
Attendees hoping to watch talks via the theatre must register for the event. Your official TEDxBGSU name tag will be your ticket into the theatre.

Interested in volunteering at TEDxBGSU! Register below to volunteer. Volunteers will serve a variety of roles during the event including counting attendance at the theatre, refreshing spaces in between speeches, checking in registered attendees, and more. Interested volunteers are encouraged to indicate their full availability for Wednesday, April 13th on the form; shifts will not exceed three hours.
