You can now check out an iPad for a week and take it out of the library!
All of the library iPads are second-generation iPads (iPad2) and have smart covers.
Current BGSU students, faculty and staff can borrow them from the first-floor circulation desk.
They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If all the iPads are checked out you can ask us to place a hold on one for you.
You'll need your ID to borrow an iPad, and you'll have to sign an agreement of responsibility.
When you check out an iPad you'll also get a power adaptor and a USB cable. Please be sure to include all of these items when you return the iPad.
Overdue fines accumulate at a rate of $1.00 per hour. Sorry, but no renewals will be allowed.
After an iPad is returned, we will run a full restore on it. We will not be able to retrieve any data, including photos and papers, once that process has begun.
Additionally, there will be a delay between when an iPad is returned and when it will again be available for check-out. This is due to the restore process, which is necessary to preserve the privacy of our patrons.
