The Collab Lab Laptop Loan Program is an opportunity for University students to receive a laptop computer during the academic year. This program provides more immediate access to campus technologies for those most likely to benefit from them.
The laptops are University property, are issued at no cost to selected students, and are loaned out for one academic year. Students can use the laptops for whatever they wish, including word processing, online research, e-mail correspondence, etc., provided the student stays enrolled at the University.
Laptop Loan Requirements for Application
Any currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student who is receiving financial aid from the University or has a registered disability through our Accessibility Services office is eligible for the program. Students may apply and enroll in the Laptop Loan Program for multiple years. Laptops are loaned out for one academic year, from September to April.

To have a laptop by the beginning of the academic year, we recommend submitting your application no later than July 1st of each year.

Unfortunately, the Collab Lab does not provide "rental" laptops. The circulation desk has laptops available to use in-house.
