Study Groups Highlights

Study Groups for Mathematics and Statistics courses Highlights

  • In addition to drop-in, students can now request study groups for Math & Stats (M&S) classes
  • Study groups are NOT one-on-one
    • They do not start until two students are in the group
    • Groups will fold if the size of the group drops to one student
  • Study groups must be course and section specific (students in the group must be classmates)
  • Students will request M&S study groups like they request any other study group
  • M&S study groups will meet once a week for one hour; if students want additional tutoring, they may use the drop-in tutoring as usual
  • Drop-in tutoring will continue as normal; study groups will allow more in depth content discussions and be less focused on specific homework assignments
  • All other policies that apply to study groups in general will also apply to these groups
