Tech Tutors assist BGSU students to gain knowledge and work effectively with the technology they are required to use at BGSU.
The Learning Commons is always willing to help; however,
Students are encouraged to contact ITS for issues concerning accessing software, printing, wireless and network access, and passwords.
Graduate Students are encouraged to contact Thesis & Dissertation Services for assistance formatting Electronic Thesis and Dissertations (ETD), as well as OhioLINK submittal, accessibility, and Acrobat Pro requirements.
Faculty are encouraged to contact The Center for Faculty Excellence for issues regarding the incorporation of technology into their practice and classrooms.
Tech Tutoring is available for Canvas, Zoom, Qualtrics, and the following programs/packages:
- Premiere Pro
- Acrobat DC
- Google Docs
- Google Drive
Tech Tutoring appointments are available for the following programs/packages:
- Autodesk Rivet
- 3DS Max
For assistance with statistical software packages like SPSS, R, or SAS, please contact The Learning Commons Math and Stats Lab to determine availability. The Lab can be reached by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 419-372-2823.
Tech Tutors only support BGSU software: this does not include MATLAB, Mathematica, SQL, Python, or other coding languages/programs. We recommend consulting your professors, TAs, LAs, or the internet for help regarding these programs!
