Federal Work Study Business Process Review
The Federal Work Study Business Process Review (BPR) project consisted of the documentation and review of all Federal Work Study business processes in order to develop and approve a list of future changes for increasing back-office efficiency and correct current program issues. Each year, over 400 students are part of the Federal Work Study program (funded by the Department of Education) which offers funding assistance to BGSU to employ students with a financial need. This project resulted in 22 items identified for updating in a future project that will reduce processing time and labor, ensuring that the $700,000 BGSU receives annually is allocated as efficiently as possible.
