Storing Sensitive Information

Protecting the University's sensitive data is everyone's responsibility.  Examples of sensitive data include but are not limited to social security numbers, driver's license number or credit card numbers.  If you work with these types of information, you need to take special precautions when storing the data electronically.  Below are the links to the policies relating to storing sensitive data on SharePoint, Exchange or OneDrive websites.  Please contact the BGSU ITS Information Security Team if you need to store sensitive data for you or your department to work with on a daily basis.  We can assist you with setting up the best secure storage option.
