| Data collected and provided; Teams portal setup by Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE); Conduct SWOT analysis | September 30, 2025 |
| Submit A-Dean and Dean- signed MOU to Office of Institutional Effectiveness | October 15, 2025 |
| Submit first draft of self-study (including Action Plan) to Office of Institutional Effectiveness who will issue a self-study approval status letter (SSASL) with feedback as needed (reiterative process if necessary) | November 15, 2025 |
| Revise self-study and submit final version for final approval by Office of Institutional Effectiveness (must have been reviewed and approved by A-Dean/Dean prior to submission to OIE) | December 15, 2025 |
| Identify and obtain approval of external reviewers (submit list of 4-6 potential names to OIE who will confirm with the Provost's Office; Provost and OIE will confirm the final 2 external reviewers for the visit. Visit may be in person or virtual. | January 31, 2026 |
| OIE will obtain all necessary paperwork from external reviewers (They are not permited to begin work for BGSU until all duly signed ICA, resume and a Non-Conlfict-of-Interest form are received and filed). | February 15, 2026 |
| Program/Department confers directly with external reviewers to set the visit date (if labs must be inspected, the visit needs to be in person). The external review visit must take place prior to April 15, 2026 to allow for student participation. | April 15, 2026 |
| External reviewers provided an executive summary and detailed report to OIE and College Designee/A-Dean (approximately 2 weeks after the on-campus/virtual visit) | May 15, 2026 |
| Program responds to findings from external reviewers, adjust their Action Plan as needed and obtain approval of the adjusted Action Plan by the College A-Dean/Dean. | June 15, 2026 |
