Professional Development Information

In light of the remote working opportunities, the Office of Human Resources wanted to provide resources that are available for both professional and personal development. The Office of Human Resources (OHR) is committed to the growth of BGSU employees and offer a wide variety of courses and tools for employee development which are aimed to enlighten, enrich and educate employees.

These trainings can be accessed remotely, through our Bridge Learning Management System. Additional training resources are listed below and are available by following the steps identified below:

HR Professional Development Trainings

Log onto: -> MyBGSU -> Employees / Faculty page -> Misc Services on far left side, scroll down to & click the Bridge Training Portal, or by going directly to the URL: You will then be prompted to enter their BGSU username and password. Once authenticated, you can access My Learning and Learning Library to view available trainings and see recently completed trainings.

Technical Trainings

Log onto: -> MyBGSU -> Employees / Faculty page -> Misc Services on far left side, scroll down to & click Atomic Learning or by going directly to the URL: Atomic Learning Hoonuit. Type in the search box the type of the course or topic, (e.g. Microsoft Office trainings for Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher), and follow the directions.

Impact Solutions ‘Employee Assistance’ Trainings

Log onto: Go to Member Login button. Remember that your username will be BGSU. Insert BGSU into the username of the Member Login box. Hit ‘click’ to sign in. (Please Note: You will be required to create a username/password for the training sessions you enroll in one of the later screens after following the directions. For easiest login, please register with your BGSU username and current password.
