Hi, my name is Tiffany Menard and I am the Assistant Director for Fellowship Mentoring in the Honors College. I work with students that are interested in applying for internal and external scholarships and fellowships and exploring other funding to assist with continuing your education. Funding can often be a crucial part of planning your education and I am excited to help students to plan and consider opportunities to help with this!
My past work experience has ranged from working with tutoring programs, study abroad, camp and conference planning, residence life, and career services at institutions including Iowa State University, Grinnell College, George Mason University, and the University of West Florida. I have a B.A. in Political Science from Hartwick College, an M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Iowa State University, and am completing my Ph.D in Higher Education Administration here at BGSU.
I am originally from upstate New York and have lived in 5 different states and 3 different countries (including the U.S.) and have loved calling Ohio home for the last 5 years. I came to BGSU to start my Ph.D in Higher Education Administration and have worked as a research assistant and also as interim program advisor for the McNair Scholars Program.
In my personal time, I love spending time with my family, including my son Jackson, my partner James, his two daughters, and our cat Velvet. I love traveling, gardening, cooking, watching movies, being outdoors, reading, and renovating our house. Feel free to stop by and see me in the Honors College or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org .
