Madelyn Huzyakc interned at the Falcon Food Pantry on campus as part of her final capstone Honors College project - an experience so formative she now hopes to work at a nonprofit organization or in public health.

Chien Minh Tran Phuoc -  Last summer, Chien travelled with BGSU faculty and students to the Navajo Culture to immerse himself into the Native American culture and in October he represented BGSU at the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society Leadership Conference in Tampa, Florida.


Madison Jeffries a member of the Undergraduate Student Government, and she stands as the Senator of the Honors College. Her duties are to be the voice of the Honors College and bring forth any concerns and or initiatives the Honors College wants to be accomplished on campus.


Natalie Nieschwitz - "This project helped me grow personally and professionally. I feel more confident pursuing nutrition and research in my future career."


Kayla Taylor - Kayla used the Honors College grant to support her recent ed. abroad experience. "This experience helped me to gain a greater perspective for other cultures and allowed me to further my research abilities." 


Alexis Heath - "Like with any internship or new job, I would say I used quite a bit of general knowledge from my Honors coursework: critical thinking, learning through challenges, pushing myself to learn more in the empty parts of a day. "


Kaitlyn Wincup "My experiences in the Honors College helped me to think from multiple perspectives while designing and creating" 


Kate Lochridge, an Honors College student double majoring in marine and aquatic biology and fine arts, spent the summer in Alaska as a recipient of the Ernest F. Hollings scholarship through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

Devan Harmych serves as connector to help fellow BGSU students find professional success


Kristin Burnside - "At my internship, my main responsibilities were creating and delivering two original lesson plans to younger children, daily feeding of the educational animals within the Nature Center, and leading interpretive nature hikes for groups of all ages."


Lillie Swinehart "Critical thinking and innovation were big pieces of the company culture and I felt very prepared to participate in conversations around those topics thanks to my experiences in my honors classes."


Anna Zdrojewski "I've used a lot of Critical Thinking skills while building the website, as we've tried to be inclusive of as many groups as possible and I've had to think about and incorporate a variety of people from various backgrounds and beliefs."
