Hello! My name is Sara Aniol and I am originally from Columbia Station, Ohio which is 30 minutes outside of Cleveland. I am a freshman majoring in Data Science with a minor in coaching. I played softball and soccer in high school and am currently on the BGSU club softball team. In addition to being an Honors Ambassador, I am a waitress at the Black Swamp Pub on campus as well as the secretary of the club softball team. I have a yellow jeep wrangler at home that I love driving more than anything in this world. I love BGSU and my hope is to share my experiences with prospective students so they can have the same great opportunities that I have been offered.
My name is Jessica Bertke and I am a senior Technical Theatre major here at BGSU. I am originally from Kettering, Ohio. In addition to my classes, I spend a lot of time in the Scene Shop here on campus building sets for our main stage shows, I participate in the Honors Learning Community, and am this year’s President of Mortar Board Senior Honor Society, which has recently become affiliated with the Honors college. I am a Grant-In-Aid recipient in the Theatre department and I have been an Honors OWGL in the past; both of these activities allow me to work with prospective and new students in addition to being an Ambassador. I love being able to help students as they experience BGSU for the first time because I love being a falcon! In my free time I enjoy BGSU Hockey, visiting family, and hanging out with friends.
Hi! My name is Shannon Cleary, and I am a sophomore at BGSU studying Public Relations and Dance. I am originally from Stow, Ohio. In addition to serving as an Honors Ambassador, I am a Campus Tour Guide and part of University Dance Alliance and Public Relations Student Society of America. Dance is my passion and has been part of my life for 18 years now! I would love to work in PR within the arts. I love sharing my experiences with prospective students in the hopes that they will find a place that feels as much like home as Bowling Green does for me. I especially love giving back to the Honors College and helping students realize the wonderful opportunities it has to offer!
Hi there! My name is Tarynn Clune and I am from New Bremen, Ohio. I am a junior at Bowling Green State University pursuing a degree in Communication Disorders. I have plans to attend graduate school to become a Speech Pathologist, and would eventually like to work in the medical field with elderly adults or possibly in a neonatal intensive care unit. In the future I would also love to pursue a PhD to further research in degenerative neurological disorders or traumatic brain injury. In my free time I enjoy volleyball, I also enjoy meeting new people, which of course is an added bonus of working with prospective students. On campus I am very involved in the BGSU chapter of National Student Speech Language Hearing Association as the president elect, as well as working in the motor speech lab. Finally, I enjoy talking with large groups of people and helping guide individuals through the craziness that is picking a college, which is why I am so glad to be here with all of you.

My plans are to attend graduate school to become either a Speech Pathologist or an Audiologist. I am originally from Wooster, Ohio. In addition to serving as an Honors Ambassador, I am a member of the Honors Learning Community, Honors Student Association, an active serving Opening Weekend Group Leader, an active member of the BGSU chapter of National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, as well as the Executive Social Chair of ALD-PES National Honor Society. I play on an intramural soccer team and love finding opportunities across campus to become as involved as I can! Hello! My name is Natasha Flesher and I am a junior on the Neuroscience Pre-medicine track. I am from Akron, Ohio. I am currently involved in Midlife, Mortar Board, AMSA, Honors Scholars and have been involved with many more in earlier years. I have finished up a CURS summer research grant and am involved in volunteering with Camp Quality Ohio and the Wood County Hospital. I am planning on attending Medical school and specializing in either Neurology or Neurosurgery.

My hometown is Findlay, Ohio, so I am very familiar with this northwest area of the state. On campus, I am a tutor for the Math in Action tutoring center. I love spending time with my friends, my family, and of course, my dog. When I was an incoming student at BGSU, talking to the Honors Ambassadors was my first step in realizing my potential both within and beyond the classroom. Hi! I'm Sammy Martin and I am a junior Music Education major from Swanton, Ohio. The Honors College has been a big part of my life since I've been here at BGSU, both in my classes and through several Honors student organizations. I am also a member of the Music Ambassadors and the director of Not Yet Perfect, a pop a cappella group. In my spare time (if I ever have any) I also enjoy drawing, reading, and writing. I work at the learning Commons on campus tutoring various math classes. I am involved in Presidential Scholars, as well as H2O on campus. I enjoy adventuring, reading, drawing, running and traveling. I am in the Music Performance degree program with a double major in Jazz Studies (alto saxophone) and Guitar Performance. I am originally from Madison, Ohio, which is close to Cleveland. In addition to being involved with Honors Ambassadors, I am the president of the Student Jazz Association. I also work in the Honors College Office and teach guitar lessons in the Bowling Green area. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs, being outside, and reading. I grew up in Connecticut, loved my time at BG and am looking forward to the next adventure in a new part of the country! On campus, I am the president of Gamma Iota Sigma, the Insurance fraternity on campus. I also tutor economics through The Learning Commons and work as a Stargaze Instructor at the observatory. I spend my free time running, watching Game of Thrones and attempting to perfect the breakfast sandwich. My favorite aspect of working with prospective students is the chance to learn a little about them and help to guide them on their path to choosing the perfect school (which is obviously BGSU).

I am a junior here at Bowling Green State University majoring in Business Administration with a focus in marketing. I like to spend a lot of my time in the gym staying fit and active as well as reading, spending time with friends and playing sports.
