Alternative Resident Educator Licensure
A four-year Alternative Resident Educator License for Teaching in Career-Technical Workforce Development is issued by the state to those meeting specifications including work experience in the career field to be taught. During the first four years of teaching, the teacher must complete a 24 credit hour program at a university approved to offer the program. BGSU’s approved program is the only one in Ohio that is available completely online. The courses in this program apply to the master’s degree program.
