Active Learning Classroom: BGSU’s Active Learning Classrooms (ALC) are specially designed spaces that bring together pedagogy, design elements, and technology to help faculty fully engage students in the pursuit of learning. In order to help faculty make the best use of these classrooms, the CFE is pleased to present a new ALC Certificate.

Instructional Design and Course Development: Whether the goal is adapting current face-to-face course content for online delivery or finding new innovative ways to deliver materials and assess learning for an online class, CFE’s Instructional Designers offer support to faculty in creating online courses and implementing online tools and technology that will achieve all of the established course objectives.

Center for Faculty Excellence – Teaching and Learning Certificate program: This certificate is a way that faculty can learn new teaching strategies that maximize student learning. Interact with colleagues across disciplines and explore diverse and innovative teaching techniques.
Center for Faculty Excellence: The CFE workshops are intended to provide opportunities for BGSU educators to discuss learner-centered, integrative teaching.
