Graduate Assistantships
Types of Graduate Assistantships:
- Teaching Assistant - Assist faculty in teaching courses for majors
- Teaching Physical Activity Courses (e.g., basketball, swimming, and yoga)
- Research Assistant - Work with faculty on their research in progress
Graduate Assistantship requirements:
- Regular admission status to the Human Movement, Sport, & Leisure Studies graduate program
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher OR Graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (for 9 or more credit hours)
- Submission of the Graduate Assistantship Application by December 1
Other Funding Sources for Graduate Assistantships:
- The School of Human Movement, Sport, & Leisure Studies has approximately 14-18 assistantships annually
