A Letter to future eCampus Students
from assistant Vice Provost, Dr. Paul Cesarini
Hello adult learners! Do you work fulltime, but want to advance your education opportunities part-time? Do you work different or atypical shifts? Does your work schedule vary from month-to-month or week-to-week? Are you in a different time zone? Are you active duty military, stationed halfway across the world? Are you finding it hard to balance work and family while continuing your education? If any of these situations apply to you, then the BGSU eCampus is here to help. All of our programs are 100% online and are designed for working adults. We focus on meeting the educational needs of those who either want to start a new career or advance in their current one. Your classroom is wherever you and your connected device may be, 24/7. Our programs are fully-accredited by a variety of industry-specific organizations, offer up to six start dates per year, and most courses are offered in 7-week sessions. Speaking as someone who has taught in online degree programs for over 15 years, I can attest to the value of distance education for working adults. Whereas earning a degree might once have been impossible due to geographic barriers or the lack of available programs in your region that meet your needs, we now have numerous online undergraduate and graduate programs geared toward you, specifically. The eCampus staff will guide you through the admissions and enrollment process and will continue to be there for you to answer and questions you might have. I look forward to working with each of you in the coming semesters.
