Individualized business (I-Business) specialization
The Individualized business (I-Business) specialization consists of coursework in management, marketing, information systems, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and accounting to provide a wholistic business education and deepen the student’s understanding of the business world.

Management Specialization
The Management specialization prepares students to manage and lead people in a wide variety of business organizations in a global environment by developing their skills in change management, communication, teamwork, motivation, ethical decision making, and understanding cultures and diversity.

Program Requirements

A minimum of 122 credit hours towards the degree including transfer credits with at least 40 credits from courses numbered 3000 or above, and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 are required to graduate from BGSU. Based on your transfer credits, earn your degree in as few as four semesters on a full-time schedule, or pursue the program part-time at your own pace.

Individualized Business Specialization

The Individualized business (I-Business) specialization consists of coursework in management, marketing, information systems, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and accounting to provide a holistic business education and deepen the student’s understanding of the business world and develop his/her managerial skill set.

Application Requirements

  • Completed/complete BGSU General Education Requirements (transfer credits accepted)
  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative transfer GPA
  • Letter grade of C or better in business calculus
  • Letter grade of C or better in 4 of the following: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Business Communication, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Introduction to MIS, Statistics 1, and Statistics 2. (BGSU equivalent courses: ACCT 2210, ACCT 2220, BA 2030, ECON 2020, ECON 2030, MIS 2000, STAT 2110, STAT 2120).
  • Students will enter the College of Business as pre-business majors and will gain admission to the BSBA Degree Program after completing 12 BGSU hours with a 2.5 GPA.

Submit Official Collegiate Transcripts


Request official copies of transcripts from every college or university you have attended. The Office of Transfer Evaluation will then evaluate your official transcript for possible credit towards your degree. Official transcripts should be sent directly to:

Contact your College of Business eCampus Advisor

Approximately one week after the Admissions Office receives your transcripts and application, your application will be processed. You will receive an email from the Admissions office when that is complete.  At that point, email your College of Business Advisor for account set up and registration instructions!

You will be enrolled in and receive your degree from the College of Business
