Web Accessibility and Captioning Videos
The Center for Faculty Excellence has created the resource Web Accessibility and Captioning Videos to assist with ensuring course accessibility. It includes instructions for adding captions to videos.
Listed below are a couple of the hundreds of online Web Accessibility Resources. If you would like to add to the list, please contact Peggy Dennis.
- Web Aim: Web Accessibility in Mind - Web accessibility training, checklists and a great automated accessibility checker that shows the errors directly on the page instead of on a separate report.
- Adobe Products - Contains a wealth of information on using all of their products with accessibility in mind. For example, creating accessible forms in the design stage can increase usability and eliminate the need to redo the form later.
