COUNTDOWN TO SPRING

Navigating this global pandemic has pushed our University to try new things and learn from our mistakes. This Spring, we are taking what we have learned from the fall to welcome you back with COVID-19 safe events during Weeks of Welcome. Getting you connected and building a sense of BELONGING is what BGSU does best, and we hope you will join us throughout the Spring Semester as we look to a bright 2021.

We have developed this page to help you find the most important resources and information as you prepare for the spring semester.

VIRTUAL ROOMMATE PROGRAM

Making friends in a COVID era can be difficult. To help, we have created a system to match you with a virtual roommate. Fill out this form to get matched with another student here at BGSU.

STAY CONNECTED DURING BREAK

During break, it is easy to start feeling out of touch with campus life. That's why we have scheduled four unique live discussions that will be hosted on our BGSU Facebook Page. These discussions will be hosted by our Life Design Coaches and will feature authentic dialog, a chance for you to ask questions and connect with other students virtually. After each event, we will update this page with links to the recorded sessions so you can use it as a resource in the future.

WEEKS OF WELCOME

During the fall semester, we hosted virtual and in-person events so you could have many opportunities to remain engaged. We learned what works, and we are planning to improve the quality of our spring events and experiences, especially in person, in a safe and small group format.

We encourage you to stay engaged. Whether it’s a focus on health and wellness, your career, what you are passionate about, or connections with other students or faculty and staff, this next spring is yours to harness.
