Bowling Green State University
April 2016

Greetings from the College of Business!

Bloomberg Businessweek released rankings of undergraduate business programs including the BGSU College of Business and I am pleased to report that we achieved a historically high rating!

We just celebrated a phenomenal E-Week with more than 2,000 students, faculty members, staff, alumni and business leaders from throughout the region on campus to attend our events.

Four new members were inducted into the Dallas-Hamilton Hall of Fame, six of eight business ideas received some form of funding by Falcon Investors at The Hatch and digital entrepreneurship was the focus at the Sebo Series in Entrepreneurship. Alumni presented to students throughout the week at Lunch and Learns providing a very unique perspective to upcoming entrepreneurs.

In a few weeks we will graduate another class of students and will be recognizing outstanding faculty members and our Karl E. Vogt Outstanding Senior. Thank you for reading Biz News and learning how we continue Going Beyond Business As Usual!

Please let me know of any success stories you would like to share in Biz News!

Warm regards,
Raymond Braun '80
Dean, College of Business

She resisted the temptation to take that entry-level post following graduation, and instead chases dreams that won’t fit inside a conventional career plan.
