BGSU & Project Connect Hygiene Item and Food Drive Challenge

BGSU’s Center for Public Impact is supporting Wood County’s upcoming Project Connect. This will include three socially distanced, drive-thru events to provide a broad range of direct services to individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness or poverty. We are challenging student organizations, campus offices, groups of friends, alumni, and BGSU family and friends to commit to donating hygiene kits and/or grocery items for Project Connect. Donations should be delivered to the BGSU Center for Public Impact (100 University Hall) no later than March 19, 2021.

  • Disposable Razors/Shaving Cream

Grocery Bag Kit
  • 1x 12.5 oz can of chicken
  • 1x box of chicken helper
  • 2x 5 oz cans of tuna
  • 1x box of tuna helper
  • 1 lb. package of spaghetti pasta
  • 1x jar of pasta sauce (in plastic or unbreakable container)
  • 1x can of soup
  • 1x small can of fruit
  • 1x small can of vegetables
  • 1x small box of cereal
  • 1x small jar of peanut butter (in plastic or unbreakable container)
  • 1x small jar of jelly (in plastic or unbreakable container)
  • 1x box of crackers
  • 1x package of cookies

Step 3 - Drop-Off Your Items

On or before Monday, March 19, 2021. Weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Bins available outside of office and in BTSU for after hours drop-offs.

Step 4 – Share your Impact!

Take a picture of you/your organization and your donations for Project Connect. Post it to social media accounts and tag BGSU’s Center for Public Impact!

Wood County Project Connect has three socially distanced, drive-thru events offering information on services for Wood County residents in need as well as free groceries and personal care items.

Registration is required by April 2nd!
