This workshop provides graduate teaching associates the opportunity to reflect on themselves as teachers. This workshop provides a brief introduction to the scholarly literature of teaching and learning, with an emphasis on ideas to navigate this body of work and find techniques that best fit their teaching style. Participants will be provided with materials to help them write a teaching philosophy statement, further develop a teaching persona, and reflect on their process of creating effective learning environments.
