Ohio Means Internships and Co-ops Grant (OMIC)
Overview:
The Ohio Means Internships and Co-ops Grant Program is a collaboration among Bowling Green State University, employers, and students. The University receives funding from the State of Ohio to increase internships and co-ops with the goal of retaining more workers in Ohio. This funding is provided to employers as a partial wage and benefit subsidy.
Employer Eligibility:
Bowling Green State University will focus on creating infrastructure to increase internships and co-ops in the JobsOhio key industries. The grant parameters include:
- Be a current private, for-profit employer in Ohio
- Provide a partial wage and benefit subsidy
- Create a new or additional internship on-site
- Organization aligns with JobsOhio Target Industries
