I am currently a Junior in the Schmidthorst College of Business pursing a double specialization in Marketing and Management. Within the college, I am a member of The American Marketing Association, Student Ambassadors and I am the Public Relations and Communications Co-Chair on the Deans Advisory Council for Diversity and Inclusion.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends, painting, listening to music, working out and traveling when possible. An interesting fact about me is that when I traveled to Belize for a service trip, I got to zipline in their rain forest.

After graduation, I hope to work for a non-profit organization and be a part of their marketing team. Being able to understand how to market to people paired with my passion for service, is the interest I want to pursue and make my career.

After completing an internship over the summer, I look forward to building a connection between BG and several major employers to support career development on campus. I am guided by the vision that every college student has either a promising internship or full-time job offered to them by the time they receive their undergraduate degree, particularly those who come from traditionally marginalized groups.

When I have open time, I enjoy cooking, writing, spending time with my family, travelling with my best friend, and planning out how to successfully navigate the next three years immediately after graduation.

I am a third-year student in Schmidthorst College of Business. I am also an international student from India planning on doing a double major in management and finance. I am a Student Ambassador, Cultural Secretary and Social media chair for Indian Student Association, and also a member of World student organization.

I like to participate in co-curricular activities because I believe that it helps me transform my personality and also makes me confident. These activities also give me a chance to build my network and make new friends in BGSU.

On the other hand, Schmidthorst college of business also has a great impact on me since I came to BGSU. I feel that the atmosphere in the college of business is its greatest strength.

Hi everyone! My name is Emma Harris, I am specializing in Business Analytics & Intelligence, Supply Chain Management, and Marketing from Findlay, OH. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2022. Outside of Student Ambassadors, I am the President of the Supply Chain Management Association, am on the Student Advisory Board for the Peer Leader Program, on the Dean’s Advisory Council, and a Dean’s Scholar for the Schmidthorst College. Outside of the Schmidthorst College, I am a member of Alpha Phi Sorority, Order of Omega, and have been a Mentor through Mentor Collective. In my free time, I love to read and spend time with friends and family.

I recently finished working with Marathon Petroleum as a Marketing Analyst Intern.  I am currently seeking a full-time position within Supply Chain or in Marketing Analytics upon my graduation in May.

Lance-Parker

I am a sixth-year student at Bowling Green State University.  I am currently dual degree seeking with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting and International Business as well as a Bachelor of Arts – Asian Studies with a minor in Japanese.  I started out attending Missouri State University and transferred to BGSU a little over three years ago to finish out my undergraduate level courses.

In my free time I enjoy playing baseball and volleyball, going kayaking, spending time with friends, and listening to music.  With being from Missouri, I don’t get to go home often to see family and friends, but it is always a priority whenever possible.  A fun fact would be that I can name every single Pokémon, Generation 1-8.

After graduation I hope to pursue a Masters Degree in International Business.  I would like to work for an international company, either in their U.S. location or abroad, with a special area of interest being Japan.

Why I Joined DACODI: I joined DACODI because diversity and inclusion are very important to me.  As a non-traditional transfer student, and a member of the LBTQ+ community, making sure that everyone has a place to call home where they are included, and celebrated, is a top priority.  I have found a second family here in the SCoB and I want to extend that family atmosphere to as many people as I can, from all walks of life.

With many years dedicated to a wonderful career across various industries in the private sector, I have experience with strong background in leadership, management, sales, IT, and finance amongst others.

I enjoy traveling and look for such opportunities, playing Scrabble, listening to music and dancing. I am also open to trying food from other cultures as you’re likely to find me in places where there is positive flow of vibes else I help to create one.

Part of my resolution is to be intentional and positively impactful with the people I come in contact with, also providing mentorship where necessary. I never miss a chance to learn something new!
